Discover Wilgenhorst Vineyard in Zeewolde
Located just outside the village of Zeewolde, Wijngoed Wilgenhorst lies over 3.8 meters below sea level. In 2012, the first nine hundred vine stocks were planted in the calcareous clay soil, and now the count has risen to over five and a half thousand vine stocks. You can visit for a vineyard tour and a wine tasting of the local products: the only true wines from Zeewolde.
The first harvest took place in 2014, and the first wine was bottled in the spring of 2015.
