The Smits family has been growing apples since 1968. In 1982, they decided to move to Zeewolde to continue apple cultivation. They have also been growing pears for over 10 years and strawberries for over 15 years. This fruit cultivation company covers 17 hectares.

In addition, they sell a wide range of local products in the farm shop, such as home-grown apples, pears, strawberries, and juices. Furthermore, the farm shop offers as many products from the surrounding area as possible, such as potatoes, onions, eggs, dairy products, meat, cheese, and much more.
