The starting point is from the Flitsbrug over the "Blauwe Diamant", which can be reached via the Vlaamse Gaai.

From the Flitsbrug, you walk along the water on the Flitspad, which is situated along the Spiekweg, until you reach the water intersection where you walk under the Spiekweg into the forest. A large part of this walk goes over good unpaved paths. Along these paths, you pass wildlife observation posts where you can climb to enjoy the beautiful view and maybe spot some wildlife. Eventually, you get back on the paved path and head towards Camping De Parel. After passing the entrance road of De Parel on your left, you immediately cross the water Horstertocht and enter the forest again where you walk along the left side, passing by Nature Horse Paradise and Camping Het Groene Bos. At the end of the forest path, you reach Groenewoudsweg and turn right. After crossing the Spiekweg (be careful), you walk back to the Flitsbrug.
