To get to the bird-watching hut, you walk about a kilometer and a half along the Boot Path. The path starts at the parking lot of Natuurmonumenten on Ganzenpad. The route is marked with white and leads to an observation hill.

Bring binoculars because from here you have a view of beautiful birds, such as bittern, reed warbler, and bearded tit. The round trip walk is about 3 kilometers long. The path mostly goes through the new part of the nature reserve. It also passes through the older forest section. There, the path winds along moss-covered trees, some of which are giants that have fallen over.
